Highlights
- A whole 22 m classic yacht for up to 12 guests, with skipper and hostess

- A large swim platform for swimming and snorkelling
- Punta Licosa: the siren's island and its protected water
The coast most travellers never reach
South of the Amalfi Coast, the Cilento Coast is quieter, wilder and protected: the whole area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a national park. Its villages are still fishing villages, and its best bays still belong to whoever arrives by sea.
Your yacht, your day
For the whole day, Nikole K is yours alone, with room for up to 12 guests: three cabins and three private bathrooms with shower, a double saloon with a dining room and a lounge, air conditioning throughout, a flybridge and shade when the sun is high. At the stern, a large swim platform puts you straight into the water, and boarding is by electric gangway, easy for every generation.
The siren's coast
You leave from Acciaroli, a Blue Flag fishing village where, locals say, Hemingway once talked with an old fisherman. Heading north, you pass Agnone Cilento and its 17th-century watchtower, and the long beach of Ogliastro Marina, where loggerhead turtles nest. Then Punta Licosa: the ancient geographer Strabo wrote that the siren Leucosia threw herself into the sea here and became the little island with its lighthouse. The water is so clear that on calm days you can see the remains of a Roman villa on the seabed.

FAQ
Questions about Nikole K
How long is the private Cilento yacht cruise from Acciaroli?
A full day: boarding at 11:00 in the port of Acciaroli and back by 18:00, with the route north along the coast to Punta Licosa and time to swim and snorkel.
How much does a private boat trip to Punta Licosa cost?
€1,850 for the whole 22-metre yacht Nikole K, for up to 12 guests, with skipper, hostess and fuel included. The price is the same for two guests or twelve.
What is Punta Licosa, and why see it by boat?
Punta Licosa is the headland and lighthouse islet north of Acciaroli, inside the Santa Maria di Castellabate marine protected area, one of Italy's first marine parks. The point itself is private land reached only on foot, so the sea is the best way to see it, and to swim in its clear, protected water.
Can you swim and snorkel at Punta Licosa?
Yes. Nikole K's large stern swim platform puts you straight into the water. Punta Licosa is a marine protected area with speed limits near the coast and no-anchor zones, which the crew follows; that protection is part of why the water is so clear.
Is Acciaroli a Blue Flag beach?
Yes. The beaches of Acciaroli and Pioppi, in the municipality of Pollica, received the Blue Flag again in 2026, as they have for about ten years in a row.
How do I get to Acciaroli?
Acciaroli is about 75 km south of Salerno on the Cilento coast. The nearest train station is Vallo della Lucania-Castelnuovo, about 30 minutes away by bus or taxi.
Did Hemingway really visit Acciaroli?
That is the local legend: people in Acciaroli say Ernest Hemingway once sat on the harbour talking to an old fisherman, and that his stories found their way into The Old Man and the Sea. It cannot be proved, but it is a good story to start a day at sea.
What is on board Nikole K?
Three cabins and three private bathrooms with shower, a double saloon with a dining room and a lounge, air conditioning, a flybridge, an outdoor shower, a tender and an electric boarding gangway. She is a 22-metre Akhir 22 Fly by Cantieri di Pisa. Food and drinks are not included.
Can we have an Opera Lecture or a cooking class on Nikole K?
Yes, on request and at an extra cost, because our Salerno crew travels to Acciaroli to run them. In an Opera Lecture, our founder shows the great masterpieces of opera on the yacht's TV and explains them; the cooking classes teach the secrets of Italian and Neapolitan cooking. Ask when you book. On Antonella IV in Salerno, both are included in the price.
Can I book a seat on Nikole K instead of the whole yacht?
Yes. Besides the private cruise, Nikole K sails shared day cruises from Acciaroli to Punta Licosa: you book only your own seats, at €310 per person with skipper, hostess and fuel included, and share the yacht with up to 12 guests. The shared cruise sails with at least 6 guests in total and is confirmed 3 days before; otherwise you choose another date, the whole yacht as a private cruise (paying the difference) or a full refund.
